Because prayer is one of the fundamental necessities of the Christian faith, it’s essential to keep this line open to God, and pray with others too, as well by yourself. As the Lord Jesus says in Matthew 18:20, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
During this time of lock-down, our gracious heavenly Father has provided us a means to communicate with each other, be it via phone or internet, there endless possibilities to connect with people whether it’s whatsapp, zoom or one of the many apps.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” (Philippians 4:3)
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
