Be Wise As Serpents and Innocent As Doves

“Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” Matthew 10:16

“…It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.” Revelation 13:16-17

Chinese whispers has long been part of our culture, but there’s a saying that goes, ‘you shouldn’t throw the baby out with the bath water,’ but having to strain out the truth from all the muck that surrounds it can be a hard task indeed. Doing the rounds on social media is a video regarding the covid 19 vaccine and the ill intentions of the powers that be: Above are both sides of the story. If you research all that Dr Madej has mentioned in the video above, you’ll find that they do exist and have a function to play in this present age; whether it’s for the good of all, or whether it’s the covert shenanigans of those that deem themselves to be God here on Earth, only time will tell. But right under our noses in plain sight, a micro chip implant has been implemented as a social experiment in ‘forward thinking’ countries such as Sweden. Independent article

As Christians how are we to react to this?

**Please read my post in regards to how Christians are meant to prepare themselves in these last days: A Word For Today

The enemy would have us fearful, but the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We are called to be as wise as serpents but innocent as doves (Matthew 10:16). Always remembering, that the Lord is our refuge and strength, and a very present help in trouble. For greater is He who is in us, than he who is out in the world (the enemy being the opposer of those who seek to live a God fearing life and serve the one true truine God). Because we serve a sovereign God no weapon formed against us shall ever prosper, for the Lord works everything for good. He is our rock and our fortress – our hiding place. We are to stand on the promises of God and trust in Him.

When things are chaotic here on Earth, we are called to look up to Heaven and remember God is on the throne, there’s no confusion there! The battle was won at Calvary and Jesus, our Lord and Saviour and soon coming King has overcome the world and the enemy. We have authority in the name of Jesus and we’re to use it, put on our armour daily, for we’re in a spiritual warfare (the prayer can be found here). The Lord’s ways are not our ways, and we don’t always understand what He’s doing, as we see through a glass dimly; but what we are called to do is trust Him and seek after Him, with a pure and simple devotion. May the Lord guide us, give us wisdom and discernment from above in these last days to finish the race looking unto Him.

Psalm 91 is comforting and effective when prayed from the heart:

Psalm 91

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
 I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.”
For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler,
    and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers.
Under his wings you will take refuge.
His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
nor of the arrow that flies by day,
nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
    and ten thousand at your right hand;
but it will not come near you.
You will only look with your eyes,
and see the recompense of the wicked.
Because you have made Yahweh your refuge,
and the Most High your dwelling place,
no evil shall happen to you,
neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.
For he will put his angels in charge of you,
to guard you in all your ways.
They will bear you up in their hands,
so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and cobra.
You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.
“Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him.
I will set him on high, because he has known my name.
He will call on me, and I will answer him.
I will be with him in trouble.
I will deliver him, and honour him.
I will satisfy him with long life,
    and show him my salvation.”
